Tempest Redux
February - April

There is no small amount of magic in John Farmanesh-Bocca’s intense, ensemble driven adaptation of The Tempest starring Jack Stehlin. A co-production with The New American Theatre.


The Hairy Ape

A TASTE OF HONEY
September - November

Written by Shelagh Delaney
Directed by Kim Rubinstein

One of the great taboo-breaking plays of the 1950s, written when the author was just 18 years old. An explosive portrait of sexuality, working-class life and mother and daughter relationships in the 1950’s.


THE HOUR WE KNEW NOTHING OF EACH OTHER

Directed by Barbara Mueller-Wittmann & Ron Sossi

Surprising, funny, fast and physical, this is theatre to set the imagination on fire. Twelve actors, 450 characters and no dialogue: a play without words by the great experimental figure of European theatre, Peter Handke.

Odyssey Theatre presents this West Coast Premiere.
Is Beauty really only skin deep? Does Ugliness hide somewhere deeper? Following the runaway international success of Forgotten and Silent, the Odyssey Theatre presents the Los Angeles premiere of Pat Kinevane’s third solo play, Underneath. A co-production with Dublin’s Fishamble Theatre.
