Rental Rates

The following is required to rent a theatre:

1. Full payment in advance
2. $1,000 refundable security deposit (($500 for showcases and $300 for small day rentals)
3. $1,000,000 Certificate of Insurance

Odyssey 1

RENTAL FEE- $2,850/week
99 seats
26' deep x 45' wide/Maximum ceiling height is 22'; Ceiling slopes to 13'6" S.R. and 12' S.L.; Lighting pipe is 16'6" above floor; bottom of grid beams is 15'3" above floor.

Rental fee is for Tuesday through Sunday, with 4 performances Thursday through Sunday only.Theatre hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1-11pm and Sunday from 12:30-10pm (theatre is closed on Mondays). Rental fee includes:

• Space
• Lighting Equipment ETC light board, 2-scene preset 36 channel board. 36 dimmers @ 2.4 kw each.
• Sound Equipment (Amp, speakers and a CD and/or MD player)
• Heating and Air Conditioning
• Box Office/House Manager Services
  • Advance reservations at the box office (reservations over the phone require a credit card).
  • There is a $2.00 processing charge for all credit card orders (fee paid by customer, not lessee).
  • Box office hours are Tuesday from 1-6pm, Wednesday through Saturday from 1-8pm and Sunday from 1-7pm.
  • Advance reservations are taken until 6pm Tuesday-Saturday and 5pm on Sundays.
  • Includes all Box Office services including tallies.
  • Box office services begin one-week prior to move-in.
  • House Manager for all performances.
  • DOES NOT INCLUDE PRINTING TICKETS OR PROGRAMS.
  • DOES NOT INCLUDE DESIGNERS, CREW OR ANY OTHER THEATRE PERSONNEL.
  • Names and numbers of publicist, designers, stage managers, crew are available upon request.
• $300/perf. for additional performances: there is an extra charge for additional performances to cover the cost of Box Office services, House Manager services, electrical costs, etc. Additional performances can be on Wednesday nights or a 2nd Sunday show.
• Our Patio is available for receptions/parties until midnight at the rate of $75 per night.

$350 for 5 4-hour days
$625 for 5 8-hour days
$400 for 6 4-hour days
$725 for 6 8-hour days

*plus $25/hr if a staff member must be brought in to open during off hours

NOT a Full Production:

$35.00/hour (three hour minimum)
Stage lights are available for an additional $50/hr.

Lessee must be prepared to be flexible in terms of which theatre (OTE 1, OTE2, OTE 3) is made available for rehearsal space. Theatre might vary from day to day and Lessor (Odyssey) reserves the right to change the theatre at the last minute. Rates DO NOT include the use of stage lights. Stage lights are available for an additional $50/hr.

The Odyssey Theatre requires all rentals to have a Certificate of Insurance with a $1,000,000 liability limit wherein Lessee is specifically named as the insured with the Odyssey Theatre named as loss payable to other insured/certificate holder. It is possible to obtain a low cost rider on the OTE’s liability policy.

The following are the sizes for the various poster frames and the billboard:

(3) 24" x 36" frames
(1) 2'1/2" x 4'1/2" large frame outside the theatre
(1) 4' x 7.5' billboard

*There is a $50 fee for hanging your poster outside.
